Wer
einen Werbeblocker wie zum Beispiel Adblock Plus benutzt, wird beim
Aufruf von Artikeln der Bild Zeitung ( Axel Springer Verlag ) in
letzter Zeit mit der Frage: Warum sehe ich Bild.de nicht?
konfrontiert und dazu aufgefordert den Werbeblocker zu deaktivieren
um Zugriff auf die Inhalte zu bekommen. Dem voraus gingen bereits
vier Gerichtsverfahren in denen Verlage vergeblich versucht hatten
gerichtlich gegen den Werbeblocker Adblock Plus vorzugehen. Da dies
nicht gelang, glaubt man nun im Hause Springer eine solche Marktmacht
entfaltet zu haben, dass man die Kunden einfach zwingen kann sich
Bildzeitungskonform zu verhalten. Mit der Welt als weiteres Eisen im
Feuer, falls sich die Leser als widerspenstiger erweisen als man
vermutet, kann man durchaus einen solchen Versuch wagen, so wahrscheinlich das
Kalkül.
Interessant
aber ist, wie man beim Springer Verlag selbst zum Journalismus steht.
Erklärten doch die Anwälte von Springer dem Gericht wörtlich:
„ Das
Kerngeschäft der Klägerin ist die Vermarktung von Werbung.
Journalistische Inhalte sind das Vehikel, um die Aufmerksamkeit des
Publikums für die werblichen Inhalte zu erreichen.“

Wer
diesen Satz liest, der muss sich über den Zustand unseres
Journalismus keine Gedanken mehr machen. Journalismus dient laut Bild
nur einem einzigen Zweck, nämlich dem, Werbung zu platzieren.
Werbung ist das eigentliche Geschäftsfeld des Springer Verlages, wie
dieser ja inzwischen unumwunden auch bestätigt und Journalismus das
dazu notwendige Übel.
Unabhängig
davon, dass auch das Geschäftsgebaren von Adblock Plus meiner
persönlichen Meinung nach nicht ganz astrein ist, da große Verlage
sich „frei kaufen“ können, empfehle ich hiermit den Adblocker
auf keinen Fall zu deaktivieren. Lassen wir die Bildzeitung auf ihren
Vehikeln einfach sitzen, um einen ganz kleinen Beitrag dazu zu leisten, dass ein solches Verhalten nicht toleriert wird!

dies ist doch nichts Neues. Von jeher werden die Meinungen der Zeitungen und anderer Medien abhängig gemacht von den Anzeigen, die die Mächtigen zahlen. Wehe, ein Journalist, ein Redakteur versucht, die wahre Wahrheit ans Licht zu bringen... Gut, manchmal gibt es auch Ausnahmen. Dies geschieht dann wohl häufig auch als Deckmäntelchen...

Schon erstaunlich ist allerdings, wenn vor Gericht erklärt wird, Journalismus wird ausschließlich betrieben, weil sich damit Anzeigen verkaufen lassen und der Unternehmenszweck nicht der Journalismus ist sondern der Profit. Nicht die Anzeigen sind Mittel zum Zweck sondern der Journalismus. Eine neoliberaler Doktrin in reinster Ausprägung.

Moin Peter,
vielen Dank für deinen Tipp. Nachdem wir am 24.12. wieder einmal die Strände von Kalifornien und Brasilien heimgesucht hatten und abends wunderbar gespeist haben (Gänsebraten mit Klößen und Rotkohl) genossen wir am nächsten Tag die himmlische Ruhe. Gestern kam dann mein Sohn auf dem Rückweg von Dänemark vorbei und hat mir den Werbeblocker ratzfatz installiert. Ich traue mich immer nicht so recht an solche Dinge heran.
Nun wünsche ich uns allen eine wunderschöne Woche und einen guten Rutsch
